Dr. Rory Boyd

Prosthodontist, The Belfield Clinic, Dublin Dental University Hospital, Ireland

Dr. Rory Boyd from Ireland. He is the current President of the Irish Dental Association.

Here is his bio: Dr Rory Boyd graduated from Trinity College Dublin with honours. He then completed a one year post as a House Officer in Dublin Dental University Hospital. Dr Boyd then went to work in general practice in Belfast, during which time he completed his membership examinations to the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland.

Dr Boyd then completed a doctorate of clinical dentistry in prosthodontics in Dublin Dental University. During this time Dr Boyd completed an externship at them Jerry Weintraub Centre for Reconstructive Biotechnology (UCLA Prosthodontics Department).
Following completion of his specialist training in prosthodontics Dr Boyd had the privilege of taking over the longstanding prosthodontic practice of Dr William Davis and also completed his fellowship examinations to the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland.
In 2019 Dr Boyd became the President of the Irish Dental Association Metropolitan branch and currently sits on the Irish Dental Association committee. Dr Boyd has presented at both international and domestic conferences, and is committed to routinely providing further training for the profession.
